Hi Fil,
I would like to share with you my recognition of our good fortune.
That blessing comes in the form of our Mom. Her allowing presence
has enabled me to awaken to who I truly am beyond name and form,
find relief from the turmoil of the conditioned mind, and escape
from the problematic story of Me.
I returned only a year and a half ago and dramatic positive change
has occurred for me. I credit my growth to the presence of a mother
that can say "yes" to what is.
Saying "yes" to what is can be very liberating
and I learned this from her.
I notice the emanation of pure love when I am in her presence.
Not this kind of love or that kind of love but,
love in its full, unsegmented wholeness.
Sure, like anyone, she can be distracted by the world,
especially when it is glittering before her.
But it is there and I am grateful for this blessing.
I will no longer waste it or fail to recognize it.
